WHAT IS ROYALTY FREE MUSIC?

'Royalty Free Music' is a term that refers to production music that has no additional fees to pay once the music has been bought. It is purchased once and can be used again and again. Since it has no additional license payments it is classed as 'royalty free music'.

Royalty Free Music is simply a way to make licensing music easier, cheaper and more convenient. The convenience of Royalty Free music means that it is an excellent solution for most production companies. The music is usually composed especially to work with TV, film, radio, computer games or multimedia. It is tailor-made for that exact purpose and fits the criteria of most production music needs.

ROYALTY FREE MUSIC - FUNK

One of the first ROYALTY FREE MUSIC packages released by Owen is the ACOUSTIC FUNK series. The music is based around four instruments (Bass, Drums, Electric Guitar and Wurlitzer Piano) and is best described as having a strong New Orleans Funk feel to it. Think 'The Meters' and you'd be pretty well on track!

FUNK 001 - Squatter - Price $US 19.95

It has a MOR tempo (i.e. not too slow and not too fast) and was written with being the perfect 'background track' for your next project that needs something stronger than a ballad.

FUNK 001 (song name is actually 'Squatter') has a strong melody line played by the wurly and the musical piece contains two sections (i.e. chorus & verse) and a proper intro and ending.

Examples of acceptable uses include, but are not necessarily limited to: Corporate video, multimedia CDROM, video, DVD, waiting room music, telephone on-hold, PowerPoint presentation, advertisement/commercial, etc.

2. LIMITATIONS

This License has certain limitations. The following use is NOT covered by this license:

3. COPYRIGHT/OWNERSHIP

Licensee is not granted any rights of ownership or copyright in the audio and may not under any circumstances sell, lend or redistribute the audio. All of Owen Gray's audio on this site is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and all intellectual property rights in the audio belong to the individual composer of the music. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this license shall result in the violation of Owen Gray's worldwide rights. All violators will be prosecuted.

4. CUE SHEETS

If and when this music is broadcast or performed in public, cue sheets must be properly completed and Þled.

5. DISCLAIMER OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
